How many square meters are in a feddan or a dunam?
An Egyptian feddan is 4,200.83 m², divided into 24 qirats (about 175.03 m² each), and each qirat into 24 sahms (about 7.29 m²). The dunam varies by country: 1,000 m² in the Levant (Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon) and 2,500 m² in Iraq, so choose the dunam for your country.
What's the difference between the pound and metric units?
