Your count is saved on your device only (it is never sent anywhere), so you can pick up where you left off. It works offline after the first visit and can be installed on your phone like an app. Vibration works on Android. Apple doesn’t let websites vibrate an iPhone; we try a light haptic tick on iOS 18 or later (System Haptics must be on in Sounds & Haptics), and if you don’t feel it, turn on “Sound” to hear each tap.

How to use the tasbeeh counter

Frequently Asked Questions

Is using prayer beads or a counter allowed?

Most scholars permit counting dhikr with beads or a counter, while some disliked it. Scholars consider counting on the fingers of the right hand better, as the Prophet ﷺ said: “Count on your fingertips, for they will be questioned and made to speak” (Abu Dawud 1501, Tirmidhi 3583), and Abdullah ibn Amr said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting the tasbeeh with his right hand” (Abu Dawud 1502). So the counter is simply an aid if you want one; fingers are better.

When is after-prayer dhikr said?

After the final salam of an obligatory prayer, following “Astaghfirullah” three times and “Allahumma anta as-salam wa minka as-salam, tabarakta ya dhal-jalali wal-ikram”. Several authentic wordings exist, including 33 + 33 + 34 takbir, and the one used here (33 × 3, completing the hundred with the tahlil).

Where is my count saved?

Only in your device’s browser; we never see or collect it. If you clear browser data or use another device, the count starts again.
